Shark is an American television show that is a part of the new crop of CBS shows in the Fall 2006 line up. Shark aired in Canada on Global as a simsub as well as airing in the UK on Five US with repeats on UKTV Gold. It will also air in Australia on the Seven Network in 2007. In the US, this show premiered on September 21, 2006.
The drama features American actors James Woods and Jeri Ryan. Shark is about a notorious Los Angeles defense attorney who becomes a prosecutor. The pilot was directed by Spike Lee. CBS debuted Shark in the coveted 10 p.m. ET Thursday night spot. The show followed Survivor and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
On October 20, 2006, it was announced that CBS has renewed the show for a full 22-episode season.
