The Tonight Show with Jay Leno is a late night talk show which airs at 11:35pm on NBC. The show is the current incarnation of The Tonight Show. Leno became host on May 25, 1992 following the retirement of long-time host Johnny Carson. Conan O'Brien, the host of Late Night with Conan O'Brien has been announced to take over as host in 2009. For the first year, Late Night with David Letterman followed the show. Since September 13, 1993 Late Night with Conan O'Brien started after David Letterman left NBC.
